Despite the heavy subject manner around Netflix’s latest erotic thriller, Obsession, the atmosphere on set couldn’t have been better.
The cast are as thick as thieves.
And when VIP Magazine caught up with them they couldn’t stop gushing about one another.
With Charlie Murphy at the helm, we had to ask whether anyone picked up an Irish-ism.
While her on-screen fiancé, Rish Shah admits that he didn’t start speaking in an Irish brogue, he did get her a very sweet gift.
“I bought her a puzzle, a puzzle of Ireland. That was really sweet of me,” he tells us with a smile.
How sweet is that?
He then jokingly adds: “I tried to do her accent once or twice…”
Indira Varma, who plays Ingrid Rish’s character’s mother, admits that they rarely heard Charlie’s Irish accent whilst filming as she had to do an English accent for the Netflix mini-series.
“Charlie was really good at not going into her own accent. Sometimes I slipped into a dodgy inspiration of her. Love Charlie, love the Irish,” she tells us.
