Yesterday, we got a sneak peak of the stunning AW 15 collection in Arnotts.
Top models like Teodora Sutra and Thalia Heffernan showed us what we’re in store for next season at the Hugh Lane Gallery – and we’re in for a treat!
Think a retro 1960s/70s vibe – feminine yet flirty, with plenty of capes and faux furs and colours ranging from burnt oranges and vibrant reds to chocolate browns and camels.
And as well as flare dresses, pencil skirts and cropped knitwear, coats will be looser in boyfriend fits and caped pieces.
With 2015 being the Year of Irish Design so it was no surprise to see more designers being introduced to the department store’s already extensive roster.
Two new Irish designers, Natalie B Coleman and Caroline Matthews, have joined Arnotts this year, and womenswear buyer Rachel Armstrong said it’s expected they will bring a whole new level to the floor that really appeals to the customer.
“I think the Year of Irish Design is so important and we’ve always had a correspondence with Irish designers,” she commented.
