While many other celebs were no doubt nursing some sore heads on Saturday after the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards, gorgeous Rosanna Davison, who had attended the awards as a nominee, looked remarkably fresh faced the following morning for the Annual Spinal Injuries Ireland (SII) Spring lunch.
Rosanna attended the lunch at the Marker Hotel with her husband Wesley Quirke, who had also enjoyed the festivities the night before with his model wife – along with her mother Diane Davison (Board Director of SII) and 250 other glamorous guests.
Rosanna wore a black design from Ivory Closet while Diane looked spring-like amongst all the monochrome in an emerald green dress. Other guests at the lunch included TV3’s Sybil Mulcahy and Siobhan Bastible, actress Orlaith Rafter, RTE Producer/Presenter Olan McGowan and ex-RTE presenter Mary Fitzgerald.
The event kicked off with a prosecco reception in the foyer, which prepared people for the laughs provided by MC for the day Oliver Callan. New CEO of Spinal Injuries Ireland, Fiona Bolger welcomed all the guests and explained the work of the charity which provides a national community service to people living with a Spinal Cord Injury, 76% of whom are unemployed and 40% live on our below the poverty line.
Lunch was heirloom tomato & toonsbridge mozzarella with basil & artichoke cream, roast breast of Irish chicken, mushroom ketchup, slow roasted vine tomato & crispy pancetta, followed by a medley of dessert.
After further Enda and Joan impersonations by Oliver Callan, the raffle took place with over 30 prizes distributed, from hotel breaks to restaurant vouchers and beauty vouchers – the top prize, a Sunway holiday to Turkey, was won by Hilary O’Sullivan.
The rain cleared just in time for the lunchgoers to ascend to the rooftop terrace where the party went on until late in the evening.
In total over €20,000 was raised for the Spinal Injuries Ireland community service.
