The wait is finally over!
Ireland’s Fittest Family is back on our screens this weekend and we couldn’t be more excited.
The show is returning for its 10th season this Sunday, October 2nd.
Presenter Mairead Ronan will return for the hunt to find the island’s most athletic family.

The contestants will be helped by our favourite coaches Davy Fitzgerald, Anna Geary, Donncha O’Callaghan and newcomer Nina Carberry.
And worry not, Nina won’t be shying away from her competitive nature!
The first heat will see the Fitzsimons from Co Wicklow, the Gallaghers from Co Laois, the Finnegans from Co Meath, and the Dorans from Co Wexford battle it out for two places in the next round of the competition.
Anna Geary previously told VIP Magazine what we could expect from the upcoming season of Ireland’s Fittest Family.
“Nina Carbey is the brand new judge and she’s settled in quick. She’s a champion jockey!” she revealed, adding that there is a brand new course meaning that all four judges are on equal footing.
“For the first time in 10 years, there’s a water eliminator which completely throws things. You might be fit, fast, strong but suddenly you throw water into the mix and it changes everything!”
Ireland’s Fittest Family returns on RTÉ One on Sunday at 6:30pm
