In need of weekend plans? Here’s what’s on in Dublin this August Bank Holiday

If, like the rest of us, you’ve been sorely missing a good night out, here’s the next best thing. This weekend The Live Drive In will be hosting The Ultimate Family Drive In Show, Park N’Party.

Hosted by James Patrice and Ryan Andrews, you can expect car karaoke, bingo, a live band, dancers as well as a few surprises on the night.

The Guinness Storehouse has just launched their very own outdoor area where you can enjoy a delicious pint of the black stuff in the sunshine or if the weather isn’t cooperating it’s fully covered over too!

Dubbed The Brewery Yard, you can book a table for up to six people and soak up the summer atmosphere. For more info and to book, click here.

Being stuck at home for the past 15 months has certainly made us appreciate the little things we can do in our space to make them feel that bit nicer. That’s why many of us got into houseplants, or even for some who were interested before, had the time to expand their collection!

Since Irish company, Clay Plants opened online their curated selection of houseplants and beautiful pots have been tempting us on our WFH lunch breaks, and now you can shop for them in person! This weekend, Clay have their first Pop-Up shop in their working space where you can pick up plants, pots and accessories, as well as asking them for their expert advice on how to care for your new addition!

Situated in Mill Studios at Harolds Cross they’re open all weekend from 10-5 and will be offering complimentary gifts as well as free delivery on some of their bigger plants!

Another gorgeous spot in the city centre is Hen’s Teeth, who have just announced that their store, café and bar is not open five nights a week.

In their gorgeous new area they’ve dubbed The Snug you can browse the art on sale, along with a drink and some nibbles.
