Imelda May has come to the aid of one love-struck Irish man, by helping him pull off the most heartfelt proposal.
The singer was performing at King John’s castle in Limerick, when Neil decided to seek her help in asking her long term love for her hand in marriage.
During the show, Imelda stopped performing, and called Neil’s girlfriend Sarah to the stage, where he got the chance to ask her the all important question.
Imelda handed him the mic before saying, “Here, I’m leaving you to it. This is a private moment,” before scurrying towards the back of the stage.
The moment wasn’t very private at all though, as she agreed to marry her boyfriend, in front of the thousands of concert goers!
One thing’s for sure – she won’t forget the romantic proposal in a hurry. Huge congrats to the happy couple!
