Jake Carter is heading off on a six-date tour around Ireland in September.
Fresh off his win from Dancing with the Stars, he’s loving being back on stage singing.
“I’m really excited to get back on tour with the lads from the Band,” Jake told VIP Magazine.
The tour will take place in Tipperary, Tyrone, Donegal, Clare, Mayo and Dublin and spoke to us about what fans can expect.
“This is kind of a Part Two of the tour which we did earlier in the year and brings us to lots of new places where we haven’t gigged before. The first part of the tour went so well and so I decided I’d continue it and do another run of dates!”
“The main one is in Vicar Street which is where we are finishing! I’ve never gigged in Dublin and I absolutely fell in love with it whilst on Dancing With The Stars, so I’m really looking forward to that gig and all the rest of them,” he said.
If you’re heading along to the gigs you’ll also be hearing some brand new music before anyone else.
“I’ve been flat out writing new songs for my upcoming album so this tour will give a chance for the fans to hear lots of new music from the new album which won’t be released till next year so it’s kind of a sneak preview and a test to see if they like the new music that’s coming!” Jake said.
Tickets for Vicar Street are on sale now and all other tickets go on sale this Wednesday.
