Today FM presenter Ian Dempsey had an interesting morning at work today, as he got a tattoo live on air!
As part of the Dare to Care campaign, which is Today FM’s charity campaign, the 55-year-old was dared by his listeners to get a tattoo live this morning and he bravely accepted.
Tattoo artist Ross Nagle of Limerick’s Allstar Ink was invited into the studio to carry out the dare, in an effort to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
The radio presenter got a black star on his arm on him, as a tribute to the late David Bowie.
As this was his first ever ink Ian was inevitably nervous, but he didn’t let the nerves be an excuse to back out. He even took to Twitter and joked with listeners saying, “whose idea was this anyway?”
