She recently showed her adorable tot off in public for the first time, and now Maura Derrane has taken to Twitter to wish baby Cal a happy first birthday.
The Today Host used her social media page to share a cute picture of the mother and son, and said it feels surreal that Cal is growing up so fast already.
“Can’t believe my little baby is a year old today. Happy birthday Cal. X” the 44-year-old captioned the sweet snap of the pair.
The birthday celebration was a first milestone for Maura as Cal is the only child she has with husband John Deasy.
She recently admitted that she feels like she’s “too old” to add to her brood and have another child, but has no regrets about having a baby at 43.
Maura and Cal made a rare public appearance for the ‘1000 Days’ campaign recently, where the RTE star gushed about her only child.
“We will celebrate Cal’s first birthday in a couple of weeks and it has been a joy to see him develop and grow from a tiny baby to the strong, healthy and happy toddler that he is becoming,” Maura commented at the time.
