Lucy Kennedy has revealed that she has an exciting entertainment show in the pipeline.
The television presenter has disclosed that she will front a brand new programme for TV3 – and she came up with the idea of it herself.
Unfortunately, the Dublin native isn’t allowed to share any details as of yet, but she said it will be on our screens in the coming months.
“It’s all going to be announced in two weeks,” she told the Irish Daily Mirror. “I’m going to be on my own. I pitched it myself. It’s been in the pipeline for about six months.”
The mum-of-two was very clear that the show isn’t a reboot of Blind Date, which TV3 decided against last year after initially giving it the green light and choosing Lucy as host.
“It’s not Blind Date – I’ve finally let that go,” she admitted.
Meanwhile, the star, who turns 40 this week, announced that The Seven O’Clock Show, which she presents with Martin King, is set to become “bigger and better than ever”.
“There are going to be some changes made but I can’t really say,” she teased. “I can’t say – but we’re staying put. It’s going to be bigger and better.
“I love it – it’s very doable with being a mum. I can do the school runs and still be in for 4.30pm and do my job.”
What a woman, eh?
