We were all buzzing for the launch of Netflix’s House of Guinness.
The series was created by the man behind Peaky Blinders, Stephen Knight and with an almost fully Irish cast, we are huge fans.
So when VIP Magazine got to the IFTAs red carpet, we had one question in mind.
When is House of Guinness season two coming?

And the cast were happy to supply what they know.
Game of Thrones star Jack Gleeson, tells us: “I wish we knew something. Everyone is heavily invested. Just if the stars align! But sadly, we don’t have any insider information.”
His co-star Fionn O’Shea, who played Benjamin Guinness in the Netflix show, adds: “All we can say is that we would love to do it.”
We have to ask what it’s like to work on a show with an almost all Irish cast, to which the Normal People star says: “It’s really cool. We were talking a lot about this on set. 10 or 15 years there probably wouldn’t be anyone Irish in that cast.

“There might be one or two at most. But it would have been a predominantly UK and American cast. Being there and shooting it with such a wealth of Irish talent is really, really cool.”
While Danielle Galligan, who plays Lady Olivia on the show, says: “I’m just so proud of the industry, of the creatives we have and our crews are just so diligent and creative. I’m just really proud that we have built up infrastructure to be able to support these huge shows. It’s great.”

As for what she knows about season two, she admits: “They tell actors nothing because of situations like this! I know nothing,” she tells us. Lady Olivia is only getting started.”
While Seamus O’Hara echoes her sentiment, by saying: “I hope so. I know nothing, they tell us nothing.”
