Will you be staying in this Friday night?

With the weather getting even chillier there’s no chance that we’ll be leaving our coaches!

And we’ll be sitting in watching The Late Late Show this Friday.

This week Patrick is joined by some of Ireland’s biggest names across several industries. It’s not one to be missed.

RTÉ One

Irish comedian and television presenter Dara Ó Briain will drop by to chat about his new show Re: Creation as well as his jam-packed summer of sport and the one piece of music that’s haunted him at every turn.

Broadcaster Angela Scanlon will jet into studio to talk about stepping into Graham Norton’s shoes on the radio, wowing audiences with her Argentine Tango and why she is lending her voice and support to a very important upcoming documentary on RTÉ One.

Sports fans will be delighted as Galway hurler Joe Canning chats to Patrick about his new book My Story. He’ll open up about life after intercounty hurling, reflecting on the highs and lows of his incredible hurling career (five All Stars, one All Ireland, four Club All-Irelands), becoming a father, and the promise he has made to his nephews.

The one and only Jason Donovan will be on the show tomorrow night chatting about his time in Neighbours, being a teen icon of the 80s, reuniting on stage with Kylie, and going on tour next year to celebrate 35 years of hits on stage and screen as well as performing one of his chart-topping hits.‍

Aeronautical engineer Dr. Norah Patten joins Patrick to talk about her lifelong quest to become the first Irish person in space, and how this dream will soon become a reality. You can read our interview with Norah here.

Victim of coercive control, Nicola Hanney will sit down with Patrick on Friday night.

Her new book, Stronger: What Didn’t Kill Me, Made Me is Nicola’s harrowing account of the abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex, former Garda Paul Moody, who is due for release from prison later this year.

The Late Late Show airs this Friday at 9.35pm on RTÉ One
