Danny O’Reilly has revealed that he would be a teacher if he wasn’t in popular Irish rock band, The Coronas.
The lead singer of the band admitted that he has explored other areas and “wouldn’t rule out” becoming a teacher if his career as a musician hadn’t taken off.
“I was teaching guitar when I left UCD, so I wouldn’t rule that out being a teacher,” he told the Sunday World.
“I did a diploma last year in radio production, so that’s something I’m interested in.
“It’s hard to believe that we are 10 years at it now and that our first album, Heroes or Ghosts, came out in November 2007.
“It’s been tough at times, but I’d be lying if we said it’s been a really hard slog. We still love it and get a kick out of it.”
Their latest album, Trust the Wire, is set to be released this Friday, and is available to pre-order now.
