It’s set to be one of the biggest interviews in recent times, as Prince Harry and Meghan sit down for a no holds barred chat with Oprah Winfrey.

Their highly anticipated discussion will air in the US on Sunday night, but Irish viewers won’t have to wait long to watch, as RTE will broadcast it on Monday.

In a teaser for the dramatic interview, Oprah says, “Just to make it clear to everybody, there is no subject that is off-limits.”

They’re set to speak openly and honestly about breaking points, and Oprah asks Meghan if she has been silent or silenced over the last months.

In the clip, Prince Harry says, “My biggest concern was history repeating itself. I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you, with my wife by my side, because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her [Diana], going through this process by herself, all those years ago. It has been unbelievably tough for the two of us but at least we have each other.”

Catch the show on Monday night, RTE2 at 9.30pm.
