Hector Ó Heochagáin pays beautiful tribute to his late brother on his latest podcast

The television presenter paid an emotional tribute to his late brother Freddie who tragically passed away last week.

The podcast is titled, “F.C. Copenhagen A Tribute To Freddie”, posting the title on his Instagram page Hector captioned it “For my brother. Rest in peace Freddie”.

On the podcast Hector shared, “I’ve just arrived back from Copenhagen. And all I can say is we have had an amazing few days. Days full of sadness, days full of tears.

“My brother died suddenly on his bicycle at dawn on a summers morning in Copenhagen on his way to work. He is now flying high in the skies above Denmark and Ireland watching out for us and shining his love down on all of us.”

He continued, “I had some of the best nights and greatest adventures with my brother. So let’s sit back and enjoy them one more time. Slan Freddie, love you always.”

Hector Ó hEochagáin announced the sudden death of his brother Freddie with a statement on Instagram last week.

The statement read, “So it’s with a sad heart that we bring the news of the sudden passing of Hector’s brother Freddie.

“He was the star of many great adventures and tales that were told on this podcast over the last year. As a mark of respect to Freddie and his family in Ireland and Denmark, there will be no episode from the Hen House this week.

“Memories and smiles will stay with us forever… Rest in Peace now Freddie.”
