The Irish Rugby star and former Love Island winner shared the sweet sentimental meaning for his new tattoo on Instagram.
Posting a video showing off the new ink on Instagram Greg captioned it, “In 2015, I was in a bicycle accident where I completely lacerated my Achilles’ tendon. I had to re-learn how to walk and run. I was told by so many people that I had ruined my chances of ever making it in sport. In 2021, I became an Olympian. Moral of the story, always believe in yourself and never give up on your dreams !”.

He positioned the Olympic rings right over the scar from his bicycle accident, an inspiring reminder that you can do anything you set your mind to.
Greg has previously shared what his time at the Olympics has been like, telling followers,
“It’s impossible to put into words everything that I’m feeling today after playing in the Olympics…This journey has been years in the making and although we didn’t put in the performance we wanted, I am so incredibly proud to have represented my country with my mates at the top sporting level.
“All I really want to say here is thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way, I hope we did you proud,” he said.
