Gráinne Seoige and Leon Jordaan are celebrating their second wedding anniversary this week. Gráinne marked the occasion by reminiscing on Instagram with a gorgeous throwback to her bridal look.
In the caption she wrote, “Two years ago, weeks before the world changed we celebrated our wedding and some extraordinarily talented people made our big day a dream from start to finish.”
She went on to thank everyone involved in their special day and explained where the inspiration from her gown came from as well as how she designed her own jewellery.
“My gown, inspired by my Aran island heritage & stitched with a million scintillating beads was custom designed by my great friend @dononeilldesign & his darling husband @fleurdepascalny made sure my veil was perfect before I set off down the aisle…” she said.
“…I custom designed our own wedding jewellery – from our wedding bands to my diamond set hoop earrings with green tourmaline and fancy cut diamond charm drops and Leon’s South African Kudu and Irish red deer cufflinks
“We’re so grateful to everyone who was there on the day and helped us celebrate. Go raibh míle maith agaibh. Grá mór, Gráinne & Leon xxx”
The pair wed during an intimate ceremony in December 2019, surrounded by only a handful of close friends and family.
Since then the pair have relocated back to Galway officially, something Gráinne never saw herself doing, she told VIP Magazine, “I left Galway over 20 years to go work on TV3 and I really never saw myself back in Galway again. Now that I’m here I am so happy. I absolutely adore being home.”
Happy anniversary you two!
