Gordon Ramsay is enjoying some downtime in the Irish countryside.

The chef was spotted out West in Galway this week as he enjoyed some typical Irish summer weather!

He even surprised a shop by swinging by for an Irish delicacy – the 99.

Siopa Beag an Teach Dóite in Maam Cross was over the moon when the celebrity chef popped in to say hello.

They shared a picture of Gordon with two of the workers at the shop who were absolutely delighted to see him.

“Look who popped in to say hello!” they captioned the picture.

“Ramsay has given his approval of our 99! Make sure to pop in to get yours!”

Gordon wasn’t just on holidays, he was actually shooting his new show. It was announced earlier this month that he’s to shoot the next two seasons of his show Next Level Chef in Ireland.

The show’s third and fourth seasons will be filmed right here on our shores with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar confirming the news earlier this year.

It is set to be filmed in a purpose-built, brand-new sound stage at Ashford Studios, Co. Wicklow.

How exciting!
