Good news, Krispy Kreme are set to open 20 more locations around Ireland

Ok, although we like to think the mania around Krispy Kreme has subsided since they launched in Ireland (never forget the drama around cars honking in the drive-thru queue) we still let out an audible squeal when we heard they are set to open in a number of new locations.

Now, the brand aren’t opening new stores but instead have announced they will have stands in a number of Tesco and Circle K locations around the country, much like they already do in the UK.

Revealing the news on Instagram they said;  “THE NEWS IS OUT. Seems a few of you already knew.”

“As of Monday 12th April you’ll be able to enjoy FRESH Krispy Kreme doughnuts from our NEW cabinets in select @tescoirl and @circlekireland stores.”

Although they didn’t reveal exactly which locations they would be in it has been shared that this first phase will include Circle K Kill North. The Tesco stores included so far are; Clarehall, Naas, Maynooth, Balbriggan, Tallaght, Stillorgan, Bloomfields, Bray and Ballybrack.

The brand have said that the doughnuts will continue to be made fresh in their flagship store in Blanchardstown and delivered fresh to these new locations daily.

Apparently they will also be opening a second store later this year, at Central Plaza on Dame Street.

The full list of locations will be announced on Monday the 12th of April. Our daily lockdown walk and coffee just got a whole lot better.
