Georgie Crawford on being a mum: “It’s the greatest thing that has ever happened to me”

Georgie Crawford opened up about motherhood, revealing it’s the ‘greatest thing that has ever happened’ to her.

The broadcaster has a four-year-old daughter named Pia and marking her birthday, Georgie said there’s no greater pleasure in life than being her mum.

Paying tribute to the little one, she said, “Happy 4th birthday my Pia, the absolute love of our lives.

“She runs into our room every morning, gets into our bed and tells us she loves us. Then she goes and gets Piper, turns on the lights, pulls off our duvet and they both jump on the bed and it’s chaos for the rest of the day. But we wouldn’t change a second of it.

“Pia, you are my little angel and being your mummy is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Never stop singing and dancing and being the kind, caring person you are.”

Georgie and her husband Jamie would love to have another child in the near future, and the pair have spent the last few months looking into surrogacy.

“I’m so ready to have another baby. I’m there,” she said on her podcast, The Good Glow.

“We’ve started the surrogacy conversations, and when you start picking up the phone and making these calls about adoption or surrogacy, it’s so real and there’s so much to think about and consider.”

She added, “It’s a path we are exploring and finding out more and more about it so it’s very exciting for us.”
