Georgie Crawford: “I look at Tahlie every single day and she knows she’s a miracle”

Georgie Crawford

Georgie Crawford is our queen of manifesting.

As the woman behind The Good Glow, we listen to everything she has to say. Even when she suggests we go for a run!

Georgie and Jamie welcomed their second child, Tahlie, last year via surrogate. We chatted to Georgie at the Platinum VIP Style Awards about life with Pia and Tahlie…

Georgie! How are you?

We’re busy, we’re travelling a lot, doing half marathons all over the world. So, it’s been really exciting, but looking forward to a, I suppose, summer at home with the kids and just to kick back and enjoy a bit of downtime.

Ah, you couldn’t pay us to run a marathon!

Do you know what, it’s just one step in front of you. One foot in front of the other and what it is for us and what we say The Good Glow is, it’s more about the community and then connection and the laughs. Each time we go to New York, or Rome, Chicago, The Alps, everyone feels like we’re at a wedding. There’s just a run in the middle of it all. So, imagine the atmosphere of a wedding but doing something that you’re so proud of in the middle of and what it has done for us is just connect us with incredible people, because they’re everywhere, they’re all around us. So, the friendships we’re building are incredible.

You’ve convinced us! How is it being a family of five? (We couldn’t leave out your fur baby!)

You know life, I never imagined it to be this wonderful, to have two kids, you know, we waited for Tahlie for so long, and I look at her every single day and she knows she’s a miracle. She’s got that energy and we’re just in awe of her. Me, Jamie and Pia. We just look at her and she’s so funny, she’s so full of life. She has brought so much joy to our house and she just completed us. Then we’re off to Disneyland in June too. The last time we went to Disneyland our surrogate mother was pregnant, so we felt like a part of us was missing on that little trip so we’re going to go back now. Pia’s eight, Tahlie’s one. We just thank God that everything worked out the way it did.

You are the queen of manifestation. How excited do you see it become more mainstream?

Do you know the key to manifestation is you have to do the work. So, you set your eyes on something. You tell yourself you want something, you’ve got to do the little work each and every day and it’s all those little, tiny things that you do that bring you towards your goal. I think for so many years people might say you manifested Tahlie but we did the work, you know we trusted. Jamie did so much, I mean he was absolutely, you know, put his heart and soul into it and, you know, some days we felt like giving up, but we never did and we got there in the end.

Georgie, that’s so beautiful. What are you up to next?

Oh, so much, great question. Next up is Rome. We’ve got some brilliant courses coming out. We’ve got an exciting project in the UK that we are working on that will be coming your way in October with someone very special over there. Do you know what, I think for so many years I doubted myself and I worried about things, and I think I’m finally ready to just believe in myself and it’s something I have to work on each and every day. You know, even sitting in there today I felt a little bit shy and a little bit overwhelmed, but I think, I’m 40 now and if not now, when? So now I’m going for it.
