It must be the luck of the Irish that keeps him coming back!

George Ezra will be back for more on June 11th, 2023, at Musgrave Park, Cork due to popular demand.

The singer, who is already set to take the stage for five nights in total in Ireland over the next year, added an extra date to his sold-out tour due to the high demand.

George is touring following the release of his latest album Gold Rush Kid, which was released on the 10th of June this year.

The star has been dominating the airwaves with his smash hit Green Green Grass, which you can hear him perform live at his upcoming shows.

Explaining the story behind the song, George shared a story from his holidays in 2018.

He explained that he heard music coming from the streets behind him, and he was surprised by what he found, to say the least.

“There was a street party going on, with three different sound systems, people cooking in the street. I asked a woman what was going on and she told me it was a funeral – for three people. They were celebrating three lives! I thought: that is not how we do this at home. And it’s really beautiful,” he explained.

After two blockbuster albums Wanted On Voyage and Staying At Tamara’s, both of which reached number 1 in the UK and sold millions around the world, George is on the top of the world.

“The Gold Rush Kid? That’s me,” says George, reflecting on the title of his third record – a 12-strong suite of marvellous, transporting, elevational songs, that more than anything “sound like me. That’s what ties them together.”

If you’d like to see George Ezra perform live, tickets are on sale Friday, 4th November 2022 at 9 am from Ticketmaster, with pricing starting from €59.90.
