There have been rumours swirling for some time now that Garth Brooks is set to play in Dublin’s Croke Park, and now it’s been confirmed!
Today, Aiken Promotions revealed that the country singer is set to play two huge gigs on the 9th and 10th of September next year.
According to promotors, this is the only European venue Garth will play next year, meaning it will draw in fans from all over.
Of course, we all know that the star was supposed to play in Croke Park before, and after weeks of back-and-forth between residents his five sold out shows were cancelled back in 2014.

Two dates were initially planned for him to play in Croke Park in 2014 during his comeback tour, but due to popular demand, three more nights were added, making his time there a five-night-run, the biggest the event promoters had ever seen.
Garth, unfortunately, had to cancel all five of his shows as the Dublin City Council would only grand a license for three of the planned gigs.
Upon hearing the news Garth announced that he would play all five gigs or none at all, and in the end was forced to refund 400,000 to fans around the country.
As there are only two dates scheduled for 2022, here’s hoping that this time it van go ahead!
Tickets for the gig go on sale next Thursday, November 25th.
