The Friends actor luckily found the funny side of the meme’s, even if he wasn’t too sure what they meant.
It’s been around 2 weeks now since the Matt LeBlanc ‘Irish Da’ memes have started doing the rounds, and 14 days later they’re still just as funny.
Of course, it was only a matter of time before Matt found out about them for himself, especially because his partner is Irish.
Chatting with RTÉ, Stephen Mangan, an actor, and friend of Matts has said that Matt is aware of the hype, and in true Irish Uncle style, is totally bewildered by the whole thing but happy to just smile and nod along.
“Some of the stuff people were coming up with was absolutely priceless. I’m not sure Matt really understands what was happening, obviously, he is Italian, but he saw the funny side of it. He’s got a good sense of humour,” said Stephen.
We are so happy we got some sort of response, and the absolute confusion of it makes it even better.
Hopefully Matt makes a trip over here soon so we can ask him what he thinks ourselves.
On that note, here are a few of our faves.
