Francis Brennan has revealed he has a stalker.
The RTE star and hotelier is hugely popular amongst Irish viewers but has admitted that there is a scary side to the fame his job brings.
“I have a stalker actually, I’m serious. If she knew I was doing this interview she would be outside the building,” Francis told The Sunday World magazine.
“I worry about her because I don’t think it’s healthy, but I have to keep my distance. I am not in danger so the police aren’t involved.”
The 61-year-old went on to say that despite this, most of his fans have been great.
“But 99 times out of 100, people coming over to me are nothing but lovely. I get asked advice all the time,” he said.
“I have become very adept and polite at telling people that I can’t help them, without insulting them.”
