Florence Pugh has given followers a first look at her in character for her new movie The Wonder, which is filming in Ireland.
The Wonder is written by Irish writer Emma Donoghue, who also wrote Room. Pugh will play a young nurse who comes to observe the ‘fasting girl’, a young child who has stopped eating but continues to survive healthily.
Posting a picture in character Florence said, “First look at ‘The Wonder’. We’ve been traipsing around the Irish hills for the last week and it’s truly been a magnificent start to a beautiful and exciting film. What a story to get our teeth stuck into, what a crew to be working alongside and a fantastic director Sebastian Lelio to be leading us! This will be fun.”
Florence delighted fans when she arrived by posting a picture of the Hollywood sign in Wicklow with the caption, “Less traffic, greener hills, great Guinness. A different kind of Hollywood.. 💚🍀”.

Hopefully Florence does a Patrick Dempsey on it and documents her every visit with an Insta photo and caption of adoration.
The actress is dating Scrubs star Zach Braff, we wonder if he will make an appearance to visit her while she’s in Ireland!
Filming is beginning on her production today with the star posting an Insta story about her pre-shooting nerves and sporting a new brunette hair style.
