Dance Before Dark
Dance Before Dark is an immersive over 30s experience set to debut at House Dublin on Saturday the 24th of May.
The fab event will be hosted by the ever-charismatic James Patrice as Malahide Woman.
Launching Saturday, May 24th, this early evening event runs from 5pm to 9pm. It delivers all the glam, chaos, and cocktails of a full night out, with none of the next-day regrets.

International Literature Festival Dublin (ILFD)

This year’s International Literature Festival Dublin (ILFD) takes place between May 16th to 25th.
In readings, conversations, debates, screenings, guided walks, events, podcasts and broadcasts, we’re proud to celebrate the very best Irish and international fiction and non-fiction authors, poets, lyricists, playwrights and screenwriters. Irish language writing and emerging talent are always supported, and new voices championed through commissions and public initiatives.
There are history walking tours, talks with authors including Naoise Dolan, Kit de Waal and Andrea Carter, and other fabulous events.

Lovely Days Live at The Guinness Storehouse
Guinness and the Guinness Storehouse are opening the gates of St. James’s Gate for an unforgettable 3-day music, food and culture experience. Lovely Days Live at the Home of Guinness will run from Friday, May 23rd, to Sunday, May 25th.
Barry Can’t Swim and JYOTY will perform on Friday, CMAT, BIIRD and Morgana will perform on Saturday and Fontaines D.C. Lankum and Chalk will close out the festival on Sunday.
All ticket sales go towards the newly established Guinness Dublin 8 Community Fund.
Fastnet Film Festival
The Fastnet Film Festival’s returns this weekend, May 21st to May 25th.
This year promises a thrilling mix of Hollywood stars, screenings, panels, masterclasses, and special guest events in the stunning village of Schull.
Festival Highlights Include:
• In Conversation events with Domhnall Gleeson, Barry Keoghan, Nicola Coughlan, and Bill Pullman
• Interview with Ronan Day-Lewis – Featuring clips from Anemone (with Daniel Day-Lewis, Sean Bean, Samantha Morton, Samuel Bottomley)

Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake
Thrilling, bold, witty and emotive, this genre-defining event is still best known for replacing the female corps-de-ballet with a menacing male ensemble, which shattered convention, turning tradition on its head.
This groundbreaking production of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece caused a sensation when it premiered almost 30 years ago and has since become the most successful dance theatre production of all time.
The performance will run at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from May 20th to 25th. Get tickets here.
