Electric Picnic weekend is upon us!
Kylie Minogue, Noah Kahan and Calvin Harris are headlining Ireland’s biggest festival.
But if you want to get to know some of the Irish acts you need to see if you’re heading down to Stradbally this weekend.
Irish acts Kodaline, Jazzy, The Scratch, Damien Dempsey and the Wolfe Tones will also take to the stage.
Here are five acts you need to see at Electric Picnic.
Kneecap

There’s no doubt that Kneecap will draw in a huge crowd at EP this year.
The Belfast rappers are the musical act on everyone’s lips. Especially with their film hitting the cinemas this month.
So don’t miss them when they take to the stage.
CMAT

Ah we love CMAT here at VIP.
And the country-pop singer will be delighting the crowd at Electric Picnic this year.
This is an act not to be missed!
Lankum

Brothers Ian and Daragh Lynch, Radie Peat, and Cormac MacDiarmada wowed the Glastonbury crowd earlier this year.
And trust us when we say they’ll mesmerise the Irish crowd at EP this weekend.
The folk band is a mix of Irish traditional music and electro beats. Lankum are more than likely to perform The Rocks of Palestine, an acapella reworking of Arcadyβs The Rocks of Bawn.
Bambie Thug

They represented Ireland at the Eurovision this year and did us proud.
Ahead of their European tour, you can get to know more of Bambie’s songs.
We’re big fans of their unique style and are excited to hear more bangers.
The Mary Wallopers

The Mary Wallopers were added at the last-minute and we were delighted to hear it!
The Irish folk band will have the crowd up on their feet and having the time of their lives.
Trust us this is the perfect pick me up.
