Gentle readers of the Ton, we have some exciting news!
A clip from the third season of Bridgerton has been shared by Netflix and we are over the moon.
We’ve been eagerly awaiting any news about the Nicola Coughlan led season.
While we’ll have to wait until May to watch (sigh) we have gotten a short clip from the upcoming season.

In the clip, we see Penelope and Colin staring at one another with Penelope telling him: “You’re eyes are the most remarkable shade of blue. And yet somehow they shine even brighter when you are kind.”
However, don’t get your hopes up that we’re getting their declaration of love!
No, Penelope quickly adds: “I might say something like that if you were a suitor.”
Colin takes a massive gulp of water and says: “Well that was rather direct.”
