Speaking to VIP Magazine at the launch of this year’s Platinum VIP Style Awards, she gushes about her “joyful” journey to motherhood.
Opting for a dress sourced from Vinted for the event, she tells us that she is “so exciting, so joyful, so grateful” to be welcoming baby number one.
“It’s been so lovely telling everyone the happy news. It was very straightforward for us, which I didn’t think it would be. My womb gives me a lot of hassle, so just to be here is just the most magical thing in the world. We also have the house to do up, so screams internally and externally. So busy year, but all really fun and incredible things to come.”
Fionnuala is a proud dog mam to Farah and Alfie, who she tells us, are already making room for the new arrival.
“We have two gorgeous little rescue Salukis from My Lovely Horse rescue. Farah does not let me go to the bathroom alone; she pushes the door open if I try to go in there alone.
“Obviously, as soon as whatever hormonal changes happen that let the pregnancy test know, she knew because she will not let me pee alone, it’s like I already have toddlers! I am ready,” she laughs.
Apart from nesting for her little one, Fionnuala has a busy summer ahead.
“I have really fun DJ gigs that are coming up that aren’t announced yet, I will be having a little disco bump,” she jokes.
“I will have to get it bedazzled and bejewelled because I’m going to be very pregnant during the gigs in the summer, so I am buzzing for them, and I have lots more sustainable fashion coming too.”
