Exciting news for Derry Girls fans as, after multiple delays, the show is finally set to begin filming again this month!
The program, which will now be on season three, was majorly set back due to the Covid-19 pandemic but this week it’s been revealed that they will soon be back on set.
One of the stars of the show, Ian McElhinney shared this week with The Belfast Telegraph that the plan is they will be back filming at the end of September.
He shared; “It’ll be great and we’ll be delighted to see it back because it’s still in people’s hearts a little bit which is nice.”
Filming for the show’s much anticipated third season was supposed to begin back in early 2020 but was unable to due to the pandemic.
Now it’s hoped filming will wrap up by Christmas and we could ahve it back on our screens by spring of next year!
