Fans left devastated after once again failing to secure Coldplay tickets

They always put on a good show

Thousands of fans were left disappointed this morning after they were unable to secure Coldplay tickets – again.

Earlier this week, the band announced that they would be playing a third and fourth night in Croke Park due to demand, after confirming that they were coming to Ireland next summer.

However as over 100,000 fans scrambled for pre-sale tickets, it was clear that the demand had exceeded expectations.

Many also encountered issues accessing the website, receiving error messages and being pushed back in the queue.

So as 10am came around this morning and the general sale commenced, many devoted fans logged on to Ticketmaster in the hopes of nabbing tickets, to where they were once again left frustrated after the dates sold out.

It was just before 11am, that a Ticketmaster spokesperson confirmed that tickets had sold out in a record-breaking time

According to Independent.ie a Ticketmaster spokesperson said: “Coldplay were super popular this morning, and tickets are now sold out. Sorry to those who missed out this time.

“Please keep an eye on our official Fan-To-Fan Ticket Exchange for tickets becoming available at a future date.”

Here’s what some of the fans had to say…

Coldplay will play August 29th and 30th as well as September 1st and 2nd in Dublin’s Croke Park.
