Fans were left disappointed yesterday evening as Shia LaBeouf was a no-show at NCAD, and it has since emerged it was all an elaborate hoax.
NCAD student Fiachra Corcoran shared the an event online, promising the American actor’s appearance at the college exhibition.
Fiachra said, “Shia LaBeouf is an American actor and director who became known among younger audiences as Louis Stevens in the Disney Channel series Evan Stevens.
“Shia LaBeouf will present photographs and mixed media works by Fiachra Corcoran and Stephen Burke. The event will be taking place in the NCAD Box, 6-8pm.”
A number of people were looking forward to the event, but as it turns out, it was an elaborate hoax to trick people into attending the exhibition.
Fans were left disappointed, as an imposter showed up with a bag over his head, similar to a stunt the real Shia pulled at the Berlin Film Festival last year.
