After twelve months being held captive by the evil Ciaran, last night we finally saw Fair City’s Katy released from her nightmare.
Fans were relieved and delighted to finally see Katy reunited with her family following the ordeal she had been through at the hands of Ciaran.
Wednesday night’s episode saw Ciaran and Katy plunge into the sea before Katy was last night rescued and returned to Carrigstown.
Viewers of the show took to social media to share their delight at the conclusion of this controversial and long-running storyline .
