While a loved-up James and Hayley prepare to elope, Anto and Sharon agonise over their decision to keep the truth about James from Hayley.
Hayley is feeling guilty about hiding the elopement from Sharon and Anto, so James suggests a Christmas lunch for both families. When Carol gatecrashes their festive get-together, a panicked Sharon struggles to keep her cool. Will the cold, hard truth be divulged before Hayley and James say: “I do’”?
Elsewhere in Carrigstonw, Victor invites one-and-all to his Christmas Day party but warns them to keep it a secret from Babs. An overdue Jess seems to be in denial about her baby’s imminent arrival, but Babs and Victor hide their worry. Steo Nash tries to build up the courage to visit Jess with a Christmas gift.
Will Greg and the Mullens be able to keep Steo out of the picture when the baby arrives?
Dean’s online crush, Vicky, asks to meet up on Christmas Day, but Dean downplays his excitement to Sean and Georgie. However, when Vicky cancels their meet-up at the last minute, a devastated Dean is too embarrassed to admit to Sean and Georgie that his romantic plans have fallen through.
The lads’ suspicions about Vicky are growing, but will the penny drop for poor Dean?
Meanwhile, Melanie left reeling when she discovers that she has fallen for an online scam and lost €10,000 of Joan’s money. Alex picks up on Melanie’s distress, but she won’t confide in him. Will a panicked Melanie be able to keep this financial mess from Joan?
