Glenda Gilson has opened up about the idea of starting a family, revealing that even though she’d love to have a baby one day, the time just isn’t right at the moment.
The Xposé star married Rob MacNaughton in 2014, and while the pair are in a very good place, neither are sure if the time is right to have a baby.
Speaking exclusively to VIP Magazine this month, Glenda said, “Look, I would absolutely love it, and Rob would love it right now, I’d say. But as I keep saying, Xposé would have a heart attack if I came in and said, ‘Guess the good news!’, what with the other girls being pregnant.
“Not that that would ever stop me, your life is your life, but I am enjoying things the way they are at the moment. Maybe next year.
“I always said I’d enjoy the first year before thinking about babies, but then the year comes on top of you quickly, so it’s like, ‘I will enjoy this next one too!”
She continued, “I’ve always been broody, but I don’t think I’d know what hit me if I had a child tomorrow. I love kids, but I’ve never had one for more than four hours.
“Also, am I ready to give up work? Am I ready for all that? I would love if I could freeze my age now for a year or two and then get on it. I’m not getting any younger…”
