Mairead Ronan is busier than ever, as she’s just launched a brand new beauty business.
The Today FM star has been working alongside her business partner Debbie Lawless, and over the past few months, the duo have developed a range of salon professional blow dry tools.
The new hairbrush collection, named FARO, will be available in Cara pharmacies at the price of €49.99 and in the Loop in Dublin Airport for €43.99 per box.
The duo launched their business through their own financing – something which she felt was very important.
Speaking to the Mirror, Mairead said, “Myself and Debbie just used our own savings. We didn’t do it any other way. We are a small business of just two people right now and we’ll see how it goes in Cara and The Loop and if other places want to stock it too.”
Mairead also revealed that they may expand and develop different products in the future.
“It’s a hairbrush brand now, but hopefully it’ll be other products too in the future. That’s the plan!”
Meanwhile, the presenter and businesswoman is expecting her second child, and while she’s dying to find out what she’s having, her husband Louis isn’t as keen.
“I’d love to know what we’re having, but Louis has point blank refused to find out. I feel fantastic,” she said.
