This weekend saw the hugely anticipated season five opener of Peaky Blinders hit our screens, and fans had a lot to say about it!
Cillian Murphy reprised the role of Tommy Shelby in the BBC drama, and it was packed full of talking points! From hallucinations of old loves, to Tommy’s new life as a politician, fans were left wanting more from the season opener!
But it was one scene in particular that had viewers talking on social media, and it involved a four legged friend.
One scene in the five star rated opening episode showed Shelby shoot a horse, with many saying it was an epic performance by the animal!

The thing that astonished me the most about #PeakyBlinders tonight was the superb acting by that beautiful horse when it was ‘shot’. — Joanne Friend (@Jofriend9920) August 25, 2019
Cillian Murphy recently opened up about the Irish influence on the British show, and how fellow Irish stars Aiden Gillen, Charlie Murphy and Ned Dennehy make it the hit it is!
Episode two airs tonight on BBC1 at 9pm.
