First Dates aired on Tuesday night and everyone fell in love with one specific couple.
Tara and Eoin met at the First Dates restaurant and were a match made in heaven from the get-go.
They both liked sports, hurling specifically, and had similar personalities.
Tara was a nurse, much to Eoin’s delight as he revealed most of the women in his family were in the same professional, meaning she’d fit in nicely.
Viewers took to Twitter to demand the duo get married immediately.
The couple agreed that they would both like to see each other again, and headed out for a drink.
But fans are dying to know, since the episode was filmed, have the become a couple?
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on RTE Radio 1 this morning, Eoin revealed they are still in touch.
“We’re still chatting, we’re still chatting, nothing intimate the last few months but we’re good freinds,”
“Tara is a lovely girl and I think she’s a great girl, to be honest.”
Eoin revealed that the relationship can be filed under “just good friends”.
It’s not quite what we were expecting but we’re delighted to hear they are still in touch.
Laois man Eoin also revealed he highly recommends doing the show.
