The actress, who also happens to be Bono’s daughter, took to social media this week to share her dismay when she wasn’t recognised as a “nepo-baby”.
What is a nepo-baby?
Well, it’s the buzz term at the moment meaning nepotism baby AKA someone who has a relative in the entertainment industry meaning that it was easier for them to get involved in it.

And according to Collins Dictionary, it is “an actor, singer or famous figure who is likely only successful due to their even more famous parents, also nepotism baby“.
A recent article in Vulture Magazine featured a deep dive into the whose who of nepo-babies.
However, Eve Hewson was surprised to find that her name did not make the list. Come on, she’s Bono’s daughter.
She joked about the fact on social media, teasing that she wasn’t successful enough to have made the cut just yet.

Has no one seen Bad Sisters?
“Actually pretty devastated I’m not frustrated I’m not featured in the nepo baby article like haven’t then seen my hit show Bad Sisters??? The Nerve,“ she jokingly tweeted.
“Gonna get Nepo Baby tattooed on my ass,“ she added.
She went on to say that her 2023 goal is to “be successful enough to get recognized as a nepo baby.“
We are sure that she’s well on her way after the success of Bad Sisters and Netflix’s Behind Her Eyes. She is also in talks to star in Brad Pitt’s up-and-coming Formula 1 movie, which you can read all about here.
