Eoghan McDermott has been reunited with his girlfriend Aoife Melia in Fiji.
The presenter travelled abroad almost two months ago to present Love Island Australia, and as the show comes to an end, his other half flew out to join him.
The pair have been enjoying some well-deserved downtime, making the most of their time in paradise.
Sharing a snap of the couple, Eoghan said, “Never anticipated having rhyme or reason to venture this side of the world, but making some memories while we’re here, for sure!”
Aoife added, “Home for the next while with Eoghan. Can’t believe he’s got to live here for seven weeks without me. Throw me the snorkels, got some coral to be exploring.”
While Eoghan’s been away, Love Island winner and Limerick man Greg O’Shea has stepped into his shoes, hosting 2FM’s Breakfast Show with Doireann Garrihy.
“I am honestly over-the-moon to have the opportunity to work alongside Doireann while Eoghan is away,” the rugby player revealed.
“She is an amazing woman, so talented and I know I’ll learn loads from her!
“I will have to get a few tips from Eoghan on how to take on the early mornings but I’m really looking forward to giving it a go and having some craic.”
