Emma Manley has opened up about parenthood and the unpredictability of life with a newborn.
The Irish designer and hubby Eoin Ó Súilleabháin welcomed their first child to the world in March.
Their little boy took the pair by complete surprise, arriving a month earlier than expected.
Following a busy few weeks, Emma couldn’t wait to head out with friends and introduce them to the tiny tot.
Despite her plans, the new mum notes how quickly things can change when a little baby is involved.
Sharing a snap of the pair all dolled up, Emma said, “Tonight was a special night. A big ole bunch of us designers and pals were going for drinks. All with a fancy hat on.
“I was very much looking forward to this night and introducing Tadhg to his fashion aunties before Eoin took him home for some boy time.”
“My little hero was having a bad day and so, we went, he met the crew and we headed home to the comfort of the couch.
“These little ones are so unpredictable. I’m a planner and so this is the toughest part for me. I’m learning. He dictates. I’m okay with that.”
Emma and Eoin wed at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) in June 2017 surrounded by close friends and family.
“We can honestly say we had the best day of our lives celebrating with those we love the most,” she said at the time.
