eir VIP Publishing Power of Women awards 2024: Nominees for the Creative award sponsored by Dr Hauschka

VIP Publishing is delighted to announce that the eir Power of Women Awards are back.

These awards celebrate the best and brightest female entrepreneurs in Ireland, across the worlds of fashion, technology, beauty, lifestyle, wellness and more!

The winners, decided by an expert panel and awarded at an exclusive lunch in Dublin’s Marker Hotel on November 8th, will be profiled in VIP Magazine.

The Creative award sponsored by Dr Hauschka celebrates the women doing amazing things in the creative industry, from flowers to art to media.

Here’s a bit more information about our inspiring nominees…

Audrey Hamilton – Audrey Hamilton Art 

Audrey Hamilton is an abstract pop artist who paints animals and faces in acrylics. She has coined her own distinctive, colourful style and transformed her art into a brand, selling both an apparel line as well as her prints and original artworks.

Orla de Brí 

Orla de Brí is a sculptor who has worked from her purpose-built studio in Meath for the past 26 years. She has held seven major solo exhibitions and completed 26 public sculptures, specialising in bronze, steel, stone, and fibreglass.

Ciara and Rachel Howard – Howrad Studios

Ciara and Rachel Howard founded Howrad Studios in 2021, during the pandemic. Based in Dublin, their store offers quirky homeware, gifts, and accessories. Their products are sold in Arnotts and their Dublin location, and they have collaborated with brands such as Redbull, White Claw, and KASH Beauty.

Jenny McCarthy – Jenny McCarthy Photography

Jenny McCarthy is one of Ireland’s most sought-after wedding photographer, having captured over 2,000 weddings in the past 16 years. Her extensive experience in the wedding industry led her to create a brand specialising in wedding and baby products, now sold nationwide.

Clíodhna Doherty – Clíodhna Doherty Art

Irish artist Clíodhna Doherty has emerged as a prominent figure in contemporary figurative art in recent years. A graduate of the Belfast School of Art, she is inspired by human emotion and the female form. Her work has been exhibited at prestigious events, including the Venice and Cannes Biennale exhibitions.

Heather Condren – Flowerpop 

Turning flowers into an art form, Heather Condren is the founder of the award-winning floral studio, Flowerpop in Inchicore, Dublin.

Most known for their vibrancy and unusual stems, Flowerpop can add an individual aesthetic and POP to every occasion with their magical touch!

Jenny Buckley and Carol Gunner – Tamber Media

Tamber Media, founded by Jenny Buckley and Carol Gunner in 2017, is a female-owned broadcast and media production company. Since its establishment, the duo has worked with some of the industry’s biggest names, including CBS, Virgin Media, and ABC.

Deirdre Young and Sinead Bailey Kelly – H&G Creations

H&G Creations, established over 10 years ago by best friends Deirdre Young and Sinead Bailey Kelly, offers creative direction, event production and event management. They have curated exceptional events for the likes of Airbnb, Guinness, and the Latitude Festival.
