Charlene Flanagan & Niamh Ryan – Ella & Jo
Charlene and Niamh, both experts in the beauty realm launched their brand Ella & Jo in 2017. Niamh is a skin therapist and make-up artist, and Charlene is a makeup artist with over eight years’ experience in the industry.
Niamh Hogan – Holos Skincare
Niamh Hogan, CEO and founder of Holos skincare worked as a natural health therapist for 13 years and ran her own therapy business for eight years. She launched the eco-friendly and sustainable skincare brand Holos in 2014. The skincare company uses active botanical ingredients to help keep the skin healthy and nourished.
Dr Helena McMahon – Seabody
With a degree in biomedical science and a PhD in Gene and Cellular Therapeutics, Dr McMahon was very knowledgeable when she co-founded SEABODY in 2021. The biotech- based beauty and wellness company uses a scientific approach to produce its products.
Dr McMahon is also co-founder of the MTU Circular Bioeconomy Research Group and biotechnology company NutraMara.
Una McGurk – Seoulista Beauty
With a background in marketing management and previous titles including managing director of the Revive Group and Brand Manager for Coca-Cola, it is safe to say McGurk was very experienced when she founded Seoulista Beauty in 2016.
The hi-tech beauty company with manufacturers in South Korea incorporates the likes of cryo-technology to make professional grade treatments available at home. The company’s range of successful products includes its famous instant facial product.
Sonia Deasy – Pestle & Mortar
Having spent many years seeing imperfections being covered by make-up through the lens of her husband’s photography business, Sonia Deasy strived to find a simple skin care solution. Hence, the creation of her skincare company Pestle & Mortar.
Inspired by her family’s Indian heritage, the company’s essence combines natural healing and science to create a simple daily skincare routine.
Suzie O’Neill – Ayu
Makeup artist Suzie O’Neill found inspiration for her cosmetics brand AYU during her time as a makeup and beauty tutor. With the knowledge that makeup tools can make a huge difference to the application and seeing her student using poor quality brushes, she decided to design her own brushes.
After this successful venture she went on to found AYU cosmetics in 2015 which now has a slew of successful products including foundation, palettes and tanning products.
Geraldine Jones – Skin Formulas
Aesthetician, Geraldine Jones has 20 years of experience in the skin care industry and opened her own skin clinic, Mediskin in 2014. With a passion for skincare and taking her client’s wishes of simple skincare routine on board, she founded Skin Formulas in 2019.
Skin Formulas uses active ingredients to treat the skincare issues of customers and the company’s hero products, Clear and retinol alternative serum, Bakuchiol, are testament of this.
Michelle Regazolli Stone – MRS Makeup
Michelle Regazolli Stone AKA Mrs. Makeup is one of Ireland’s most famous MUAs. After graduating from a Theatrical and Media makeup course at Dun Laoghaire College she went to work for MAC. With many years of experience in the industry she has worked with many famous clients including TOWIE stars Samantha and Billie Faires. Since leaving MAC Michelle has set up her own makeup line called Mrs. Glam with the brand BPerfect.
