Sadie Chowen – Burren Perfumery 

Sadie Chowen is a perfumer and CEO of The Burren Perfumery after she bought the family-run business in 2001. Throughout her career, Sadie has worked tirelessly to create organic perfumes and skincare inspired by the nature around her.

Today, her products are stocked in Avocas across the country, and the brand has expanded to include a tea room and herb garden.

Margaret Urbanowicz – Sómas

In 2019, Margaret Urbanowicz founded Irish homeware and lifestyle brand Sómas, with the aim of helping customers embrace the little moments of peace in their daily lives.

Sómas offers a wide range of high-quality products, including home fragrances, clothing and accessories, all chosen to help create a relaxing and peaceful space for customers. 

Ngozi Elobuike – Hi Spirits Wine Club

Ngozi Elobuike is a Nigerian-American entrepreneur, scholar and cultural broker known for founding Hi Spirits, Ireland’s first Black-led wine and spirits club.

After moving to Ireland to get her Master’s degree at UCD, Ngozi was inspired to use her keen enthusiasm and knowledge of wine, as well as her love for her heritage and culture, to create an inclusive membership club for lovers of wine and spirits.

The club champions Black-owned wine and spirit producers, mainly from Africa and the Caribbean.

Lucy Hegarty – La Bougie

Following her esteemed job as a chef to royalty in the UK, expert perfumer Lucy Hegarty launched her brand La Bougie in 2012, with the goal of creating the perfect candle.

Today, La Bougie’s hand-poured artisan candles are stocked in shops all across Ireland, as well as their top-quality perfumes and lotions, which have won the hearts of fragrance connoisseurs from all around.

Louise Moran – Flourish Emporium 

Louise Moran is a perfumer and a passionate scent enthusiast, and through her fragrance brand Flourish Emporium, she’s made it her mission to create a range of scents that capture the most important parts of life and nature in a little bottle.

Her wide variety of products, including candles, reed diffusers and room sprays, are loaded with pure and natural ingredients that have been sustainably and ethically sourced, as Louise believes that in order to celebrate the scents of nature, we need to look after it. 

Gráinne Mullins – Grá Chocolates

Ever since she was young, Gráinne Mullins had a passion for cooking. After years of part-time gigs in the pastry kitchens of five-star hotels and a job in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Aix-en-Provence, Gráinne founded her own brand, Grá Chocolates, in 2020, and it has taken the country by storm.

Her high quality chocolates are now stocked in prestigious shops and hotels around the world, including Brown Thomas and Dublin Airport Duty Free. Gráinne also featured on Irish Times’ 50 People to Watch in 2020 and the Forbes 30 Under 30 List in 2023.

Amy Huberman – Ah Wines

Irish actress and writer Amy Huberman recently launched her own wine brand, Ah, Wines’

Amy explained that she believes wine should be fun and accessible, without pretension. The brand currently features an Ah Sauvignon Blanc and an Ah Cava Brut Rosé.

Through her brand, Amy wants to encourage personal connection and celebration, even including a space on the label of the bottles for buyers to write messages to friends or family. 

Alice Carroll – Foxes Bow Whsikey

Alice Carroll is the co-founder of Foxes Bow Whiskey, a modern Irish whiskey brand that she and her friend Tony Footes launched in 2021.

This vibrant whiskey brand was designed to challenge the old, traditional status quo of what whiskey should be and turn it into something that could appeal to younger generations as well.

The brand is quickly becoming a favourite among whiskey lovers around the world, and is stocked in top bars and off licenses in Ireland, the US, the UK, South Africa, Germany, Canada and Italy.
