We wrote about Ed Sheeran’s alleged romance with Irish reality star Louise Johnston earlier in the week, but now the man himself has come out and said his love life is “non existent”.
Ahead of his gigs in Wembley Stadium this weekend, Ed was co-hosting Capital London’s Breakfast Show with Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon, and admitted that he hasn’t been seeing anybody romantically since breaking up with Athina Andrelos earlier this year.
Speaking about his love life, Ed said, “It’s actually non-existent at the moment. I’m not in anything. My relationship ended and then the day after it ended I was in the Middle East, Asia, South America, New Zealand – I was just gone and in my mind I had no time to settle with it, so I was just working, working, working… I haven’t really had time to sit back and re-evaluate personal life, because I don’t really have a personal life.”
A source told the Sunday Independent last week that things had heated up between the pair, who have been friends for years.
“They have become a lot closer. They are constantly in touch, even when he is on his world tour but he is coming here soon for a gig in Dublin and they will be able to catch up then. Friends and family know so it is out there. Louise really cares about him and it’s going very well,” they said.
We’re sure the pair remain just as close as they were before: best pals!
