Ed Sheeran has reportedly asked Westlife to perform at a celebration party for his wedding this summer.
The Thinking Out Loud singer married his long term girlfriend Cherry Seaborn in a very low key ceremony in December 2018 – and they are now planning a huge party with family and friends to celebrate their nuptials.
Ed and Cherry, who have been travelling the world on the Divide album tour, have apparently now asked their favourite Irish band Westlife to sing at the celebrations!
Nicky, Kian, Shane and Mark are enjoying the start of their 20 year anniversary reunion tour, which kicked off last week in Belfast, but will hopefully be clearing some time this summer to perform at Ed and Cherry’s wedding at their house in Suffolk this summer!
“Westlife are a very unlikely choice on the face of it, but actually there is quite a deep connection there,” a source told The Daily Star.
“Flying Without Wings means an awful lot to him.
“When Ed was a kid, he loved that song. It inspired him to sing and learn to play the guitar, and it remains really special for him.”
We would LOVE to see Westlife perform at the Sheeran wedding!
