Eamonn Holmes was left stumped on yesterday’s This Morning show, after wife Ruth Langsford admitted that she had attended a hen party where sex toys were being sold.
The tv presenter, who is never one of few words was notably more reserved after Ruth’s admission.
The revelation came to light after the pair were interviewing actress Angela Griffin about her new comedy-drama series Brief Encounters, which explores the Ann Summers shop setting up in the 1980s.
Eamonn questioned Angela, “Angela, let me ask you about these parties and the men there,I would think still to this day you’re less likely to get men together to say, ‘Wahey, let’s buy sex aids’ and swap stories with each other.
“Why would women want to share this?”
Ruth responded saying, “It’s a laugh, we just have a laugh with it.
You say did I ever go to one, I did. It was a hen party, it’s fun, this is hilarious, this is fun, the wine was out, and there would be somebody selling this stuff.”
A shocked Eamonn then asked, “And there was no embarrassment?”
Ruth replied saying, “A little bit, but it was just all girls together.”
There’s certainly never a dull moment when these two are around!
