Dancing with the Stars professional Karen Byrne is hoping to be back on the dancefloor as soon as possible.
She was unfortunately unable to perform during the live shows on Sunday night due to an illness.
But she is eager to get back to business as soon as possible. And we don’t blame her!
Her dance partner Jason Smyth was teamed up with Juliia Vasylenko for the show where they scored 17 points from the judges.
Karen, of course, was watching along from home where she shared her thoughts about the routine which she had worked on all week.
“Thank you everyone for all your well wishes. Well done Jason and Julia you guys were great! Hoping to be back soon,” she gushed.
Jason explained during the show: “With Karen, from about Wednesday she has been basically stuck in her bed! We’re hoping she is recovering well but it’s great that Juliia jumped in!”
The Paralympic champion was the one who announced that Karen would not be able to dance on Sunday night.
He wrote on social media: “Hi guys, we have unfortunately some bad news on the dancing front – Karen has been sick all week and is ruled out for this weekend.
But we’re wishing her a speedy recovery and hopefully she will be back as normal the following week. The good news is I have a new partner for this week, it is… Julia.”
