DWTS: How everyone got on in week two

Fans of Dancing with the Stars were shocked to hear that, for the first time ever there would be an elimination in week two.

Yes, it’s the earliest ever elimination.

This means that one of the stars will be going home tonight.

Katelyn topped the leaderboard last week with her tango. But can she impress once again with her Jive?

Oti told her: “What a great way to open the show. I don’t know how anyone is going to keep up with you?”

They received an eight from Arthur, two sevens and a six from Brian, giving a total of 28!

After blowing the judges away with a “hot” Salsa last week, The Apprentice star Jordan Dargan slowed things down with a Viennese Waltz to Kingfishr’s Diamonds & Roses.

“You are a diamond in the rough,” Arthur Gourounlian told them while Karen Byne called him “an all-rounder”.

They received a five from Brian, a six from Oti and two sevens, meaning they have a total of 25.

Anne and partner Robert Rowiński danced the first Paso Doble of the season to David Garrett’s The 5th.

“It was certainly full of flourish but fragile in its foundation,” Brian told Anne. But Karen told her: “There’s no joke in that. You certainly got into character.”

She received two fours and two fives, meaning they received a total of 18.

Fair City star Stephanie Kelly is living out a childhood dream this week. As a self-confessed Britney Spears superfan, Stephanie says she is “buzzing” to dance a Cha-cha-cha to I’m a Slave 4 U with partner Ervinas Merfeldas.

“Your solo parts were unreal,” Karen told her. “Take your confidence from your Britney side into your Cha Cha. Forget your mistakes.”

She received a four from Brian and three fives bringing her total up to 19.

Ireland AM presenter Eric Roberts and partner Arianna Favarro will be hoping to repeat last week’s strong performance with his Foxtrot to Justin Bieber’s Daisies.

“I need more drive, more power from you,” Oti told him, while Arthur reminded him: “I know you can do better.”

They received two sixes and two fives, meaning they received a total of 22.

Michael and professional partner Kylee Vincent took on a Samba to Ed Sheeran’s 2025 hit Sapphire. And this week it was all about his breathwork!

“Your samba walks were weak but you gave it your all,” Arthur told him, while Karen said: “It was a really good dance.”

He received a four from Brian, a seven from Oti and two sixes, bringing them a total of 23.

Brian is hoping to keep the momentum going. He took on a Cha-cha-cha to Benson Boone’s Mr Electric Blue.

“It left me feeling more blue than electrified,” Brian told him, while Karen said: “Do I absolutely love watching you dance? Yes!”

Brian gave them a two, while Oti awarded them three as well as two fours. This meant they received a total of 13.

Podcaster Amber Wilson was determined to turn things around following her disappointing debut, dancing a Tango to Blondie’s Call Me with partner Alex Vladimirov.

“Amber has arrived! This was leaps better than last week!” Karen told her. While Oti called Amber her “comeback queen”.

She received a five from Brian, two sixes and a seven from Arthur, meaning she received a total of 24.

Musician Tolü Makay will perform an American Smooth to Olivia Dean’s Man I Need with partner Maciej Zięba.

“This makes me so happy. It’s like a warm soup on a cold Irish night!” Oti gushed, as Karen branded it the dance of the night. “I can’t even talk! Wow!” he enthused.

She received a seven from Arthur, two eights and the first nine of the year. They received a total of 32.

Paudie will be bringing the fire to a Waltz, aptly dancing to The Godfather Waltz by Carlo Savina and Nino Rota – a fitting choice given Paudie’s nickname, “The Paud-father”.

“It was so beautiful to watch!” Arthur told him while Brian said, “Not quite mob boss yet, but you didn’t murder it.”

He received a four from Brian, two sixes and a seven from Oti, meaning he received a total of 23.

After dancing ballroom last week, Olympic rower Philip Doyle is shaking things up this week! Philip and partner Daniela Roze will dance a Salsa to Pitbull’s We Are One.

“That was hot, hot, hot!” Oti enthused as the judges gushed about the impressive routine.

They received seven from Brian, three eights, meaning they received a total of 31.

She opened the show last week and now she’s closing week two with a Quickstep to Bette Midler’s Billy-A-Dick.

“That was gorgeous!” Karen told her, Oti added: “It was so technically difficult. Well done!”

She received a six from Brian, eight from Arthur and two sevens, receiving a total of 28.
